Transparent cancellation policy: Setup fees are non-refundable — they cover your design & build. Monthly rolling plans require 30 days written notice to cancel. On the 12 month plan, early cancellation is charged at 50% of remaining months. On cancellation, your website stays live — booking & CRM systems deactivate. Your client data is always exported and returned to you before deactivation.

Stripe processing fees: Bookable, Full Suite and Aura Complete use Stripe for payment processing. Online card fees of 1.5% + 20p per transaction apply. In-person payments via the included WisePOS E terminal are charged at 1.4% + 10p per transaction. All fees are charged directly by Stripe to your connected account — not by Aura Systems Design.

SMS reminders: Bookable includes up to 200 SMS/month. Full Suite and Aura Complete include up to 500 SMS/month. Additional SMS beyond your allowance is charged at 5p per message.

Social media (Aura Complete): 12 posts per month covers Instagram and Facebook. Content is created, designed and scheduled by us. Paid ad spend is separate and billed directly to your account — we manage the campaigns, you set the budget.

The four ways to get a salon website in the UK

1. DIY website builders (£7–£40/month)

Platforms like Wix and Squarespace let you build your own website using drag-and-drop templates.

What you get: A basic website you control yourself. Looks reasonable if you put the time in.

The hidden cost: Your time. Most salon owners spend 15–30 hours building it, then let it go stale.

Do I need any technical knowledge? +
None at all. We handle everything — design, build, hosting, and setup. You just tell us about your business and we do the rest. We also train you on how to use the booking system.
How long does it take to go live? +
Most websites are live within 3–5 working days. Full Suite allows 5–7 days. For Aura Complete with full business setup, allow 7–10 days. We keep you updated throughout.
Can I upgrade my package later? +
Yes, absolutely. You can start with Presence and upgrade to any higher package whenever you're ready. We'll apply a credit for the setup fee difference.
What does Aura Complete include for social media? +
We create, design and schedule 12 posts per month across your Instagram and Facebook accounts. Content is tailored to your brand, services and promotions. Paid advertising spend is separate and billed directly to your ad account — we manage the campaigns, you set the budget.
What are the Stripe processing fees? +
Stripe charges 1.5% + 20p per UK card transaction online, and 1.4% + 10p for in-person payments via the included WisePOS E terminal. These fees go directly to Stripe — Aura Systems Design never takes a percentage of your bookings. Ever.
Is the monthly fee on a contract? +
No long-term contracts on monthly rolling plans. Cancel any time with 30 days notice. The 12 month plan offers ~20% savings with a minimum term commitment.
What support do you offer? +
All plans include email and WhatsApp support. Full Suite and Aura Complete clients get priority support, a dedicated account manager and regular strategy calls. We're here when you need us.
